Your take on things is refreshing. The most dangerous place for my Black students to go is NOT a white suburb. The most dangerous place for them to go is the convenience store in their own neighborhood for the very reason you cite. If I, a white male, use the term "Black on Black crime," I am immediately called a racist for even mentioning it. It doesn't excuse the crimes committed by whites against people who are Black, but you can't pretend Black on Black crime doesn't exist. Thank you, and I hope your son feels better.
