Your story sounds remarkably like mine. In 2008 my rental buildings tanked, and in 2009 I got divorced. I lost everything. Credit score went from just under 800 to about 650. I couldn't even get a checking account. I have since remarried, rebuilt my credit to what it almost once was, and bought a small farm. I am happier than ever.
