You sound much like me. When I was young I hitchhiked around the US, backpacked, and took lots of road trips. The idea of traveling now is so unappealing. Every city looks pretty much the same with the same restaurant chains, hotels, etc. And I would rather have a root canal than be on a tour bus for older travelers. I'm glad I traveled as much as I did when I was younger.
