You pretty much nailed it, Michelle. I read articles that interest me written by people who are reasonably good writers. I put out the best I can. Some of my best stuff had modest success and some of my very average stuff went viral. I've stopped trying to guess what will make money and instead focus on what I like writing and reading about.
