You model what I am talking about. Nowhere in the English language can you use all capital letters like you did in the middle of your sentence (i.e. "SO MUCH"). You just broke one of the rules! Good for you! Turning people off to writing by maintaining strict and arbitrary rules does not make anyone more literate. It makes them disengage altogether. Those are students who never made it to the college that you taught at. They just stopped writing altogether.
