You make a lot of valid points. School administration is so consumed with test scores, garden variety discipline, teacher evaluations, and all that other malarky that they miss the big stuff. They have to wait until the kid actually shoots in order to do something about it. Then it's too late. Whenever something like this happens, I remind people of how great face-to-face instruction is.
