You bring up an excellent topic, Lucy. When people think of white people and guns, most think of hunting, target shooting, and self-defense. When people think of black people and guns, they almost always think of crime. I myself have been shooting guns since I was a child, and always enjoyed hunting and target shooting. Knowing how to handle a gun is a good skill. On a side note, my gut tells me that if large numbers of black people suddenly rallied (using open carry) for the 2nd amendment, you might see white support for the 2nd amendment drop.
