You blend the two ideals nicely. My son works in downtown Los Angeles and recently spent a month in Hawaii working remotely, which he loved. I spent the last year teaching high school remotely and LOVED it. No commute. No behavior annoyances. Still, there are those that need their cubicle to feel validated, so apparently we need to make room for both, as you so eloquently put it. Great article.
