You are definitely NOT alone. My stepdaughter teaches computers at a community college and she has some dual-enrolled high school students. When 2 were caught cheating, the parents came in and accused my stepdaughter of not being a good teacher and that she should take some classes. They also said she should excuse the cheating because the boys "were only 18." I am finishing my 34th year. My skin is so thick that none of this nonsense bothers me anymore, but it was a long time in coming. Someone wants their kid to have a different teacher? Fine. One less set of papers to grade and one less brat to deal with.
