Wow. This one hit me in the feels. I have 2 small stacks of letters in my trunk. One stack are the letters my mom wrote to me when I was in the Army almost 50 years ago. She died in 1992. It chronicles my family during those years. Another stack are the letters from best friend wrote to me during the same time. The handwriting, the 5-cent stamps, a small piece of a time that once was. Am I supposed to just throw that away?
