…nce that conservatives and religious groups advertised masks as a way to prevent AIDS in the 1980s. If they believed in it for AIDS, a sexually transmitted disease, why not accept it for COVID, an airborne disease? Your guess is as good as mine.

Where I live, almost no one wears masks, both vaccinated and unvaccinated. Omicron has only confirmed to them that masks don't protect the person wearing it. It is a sad state of affairs.
