What most of the people at the top of the food chain fail to realize is that robots, self-checkout machines, Chat-whatever, drones, and all that other stuff replacing humans cannot consume the products being produced. They don't spend money in the economy. They don't drive demand. If economies are going to work, it requires that paid human workers have disposable income.
