What a great topic, Gill! Where I live we have taken in a lot of refugees over the years - Hmong from SE Asian, Somalis, and most recently Afghan refugees. If anyone owes us, it is the people who turned them into refugees in the first place. These unfortunate souls don't owe us a thing.
