We used to have a small flock of chickens and people always remarked about the brown color. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to explain why eggs are the color that they are! One thing people don't know is how old those eggs they buy in the supermarket are. The producer has 30 to get them to market and the supermarket can sell them for 30 more, for a total of 60 days! Those "fresh" eggs could be almost 2 months old when you buy them.
