Using Mastodon is on my list of "things I was going to do but never got around to." The changes come swiftly and unless this is the only thing you do, it's hard to keep up. Twitter, Mastodon, Substack, Newsbreak, Medium, etc. The reason Mastodon died is because Twitter didn't get as bad as people predicted when whats-his-name bought it.
