Trump Orders Nation’s Chickens to Lay More Eggs
“It’s time they were held accountable,” says Trump
It’s been a long time since the United States faced a crisis of this magnitude. Not since 9/11 has the country seen anything like this. I’m not talking about the wildfires in Los Angeles. I’m not talking about the crisis at the southern border. I’m not talking about interest rates higher than Snoop Dogg on 4/20.
I’m talking about the price of eggs.
The last time I went into a supermarket to look at eggs, people were fighting over the last few cartons like they were Cabbage Patch Dolls on Black Friday. After seeing the price and enquiring about financing options, I ended up walking out of the store empty-handed and muttering “Too rich for my blood.”
It seems that nothing hits us where it hurts like the price of eggs, driven sky high by the devastating effects of the bird flu. Fortunately for the people of the United States, they recently elected a man as president who is going to slay this behemoth and bring egg prices down the old-fashioned way, by threatening and intimidating those who actually produce the eggs.
Yes. Donald Trump is taking the fight directly to the source of the problem, the chickens themselves.
