This omnivore has used many of these same arguments. I love vegan cooking and eat at vegan restaurants when I can, but I acknowledge that man is by nature an omnivore. We have the teeth. We have the digestive capabilities. Your article also mentions the horrors of our mass produced meat, but doesn't bring up ethically grown meat where animals are raised with care, and slaughtered in a more humane way. Also, if I hunt, is it any more cruel to shoot a rabbit than it is to let it get eaten by a hawk? Just putting that out there...
