This is exactly my relationship with my 26 year old son. He knows he can tell me anything without judgment. I give advice when he asks. Last summer I stayed at his place in Los Angeles for a week. His house, his rules. They smoke weed. I used to but don't now. I love seeing him as an adult and soak up every drop. Seeing it all makes raising him worthwhile.
