There is a third element to this issue I find. Can you not be supportive of the vaccine and the mandate, but be opposed to turning over your record to show proof? I know people who are vaccinated and support the mandate, but will not give their employer what essentially is a medical record. Will they mandate a flu shot next and expect proof? How about a colonoscopy for those over 50? Mammograms? Where does that stop. During the HIV epidemic in the 1990s there was much talk of employers having access to employees medical records as a way to screen out people who might cause health insurance premiums to go up.
