There are a few modern movies I have enjoyed. One I liked was "Midnight In Paris." Another was "A Winter's Tale." Still, I agree with you. It seems like 99% of the modern movies are just jammed full of violence, sex, violent sex, pretty faces, and a thin veneer of a plot.
