The U.S. is, in a word, stuck. It can't change, not even a little. No work/life balance. No gun control. No universal health care. No universal basic income. No alternative energy worth mentioning. The only thing the U.S. does is work. And work. And work. And the rich get richer. And richer. And richer. We are on a hamster wheel with no way off.
