The snowshoes I have now are about 40 years old. I traded my original pair to a guy in high school in exchange for a Winchester .22 rifle to go rabbit hunting with. I haven't had to repair anything other than the straps that go around my boots. I made the ones I have now out of an old innertube.

It's colder today. It was -14F when I got up. Geeeeeeez.
