The Republicans have found the holes in our constitution and have exploited them to their advantage. This is how they kept Merrick Garland off the SCOTUS and got Amy Whats-Her-Name on it. They also know how to exploit the other undemocratic institution to their advantage - the Senate. They know Wyoming gets as many votes in the Senate as California or New York. Then all they have to do is keep the gerrymandering machine going and voila, minority rule.
