The biggest problem with AI, robotics, and automation is that none of these things spend money in the economy. With fewer and fewer people working, who is going to buy the stuff being produced? It would be different if the savings were shared among the population so we all only worked, say, 20 hours per week at full salary, but that is not what is happening. The rich are simply hoarding the savings for themselves.
