The 2 party system is no longer adequate and hasn't been for a long time. What needs to happen is the formation of a 3rd party in the middle, a Moderate Party. This would free the Progressives from the moderate Dems, and give the right wing their own party free from those they call RINOs. Since no party would have a clear majority, it would force them to work together to form coalitions.
