That sounds awful. I taught from home using Google Classroom and it was a dream. If a kid misbehaved, I muted him or kicked him out virtually. Lessons were recorded so absent students could watch the lesson later. Assignments were sent in virtually and grades were available immediately. We had no fights or suspensions. I hated when we finally were made to go back to a physical classroom.
