Since tips are factored into their wages, how come we can't deduct them on our income taxes as wages paid? Their employers can. I would like to see tipping done away with completely and replaced with decent wages. Why should a server in a cheap restaurant be tipped less than a server in an expensive restaurant? They do the same thing.
