Several months ago my son called me from a car dealership in Los Angeles where he was getting his car repaired. They were trying to sell him a new car (his car only has 20,000 miles on it). He asked me what I thought. I told him I thought he should get out of there as soon as possible, and run if need be. I told him the longer you are in there, the more likely it is that you will buy a new car that you don't need. He has never regretted taking my advice. Those people suck.
