Perhaps the collapse is simply the inevitable unfolding of history. The Romans were thieves and murderers who plundered other countries. They wanted global conquest, and a nation founded on theft and greed cannot stand. The United States was founded on stolen land and built with slave labor. It probably will collapse at some point, but remember it took hundreds of years for Rome to “fall.” And their leaders were about as useless as the charlatan that currently occupies the White House.
