One of my favorite story songs is a true one - Dan Fogelberg's "Same Old Lang Syne" when he ran into a former girlfriend in a convenience store on Christmas Eve. Dec 24, 1975. Ironically, I was riding around in my pickup truck with my former girlfriend that exact same evening and we were trying to patch things up.
