Oh, Look. Another Article About Vaccinations
Vaccines and vaccinations are becoming a threadbare topic
I used to jokingly say when someone couldn’t find anything else to write about on Medium, they wrote about Medium. They wrote to complain about the curation and distribution process. They wrote to give advice on how to make a million dollars. They wrote about how Medium is going to close down. They wrote, and wrote, and wrote about Medium ad nauseum. Indeed ad infinitum.
Eventually, I stopped reading those articles. Enough is enough. Sheesh.
About a year ago, the COVID-19 vaccines were starting to be rolled out. Speech after speech was made by Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci, the CDC, and other institutions involved in public health. We were informed about the progress being made by Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson in producing the vaccines that would combat COVID. We learned that health care workers would be first in line for the vaccinations, followed by teachers. We were informed of their effectiveness and how these vaccines would allow us to “return to normal.” We could hit the bars again. We could take off our masks. People were excited.
As more and more people rolled up their sleeves for the vaccinations, the messaging from the federal government, however, became more muddled and confusing…
