My objection to her and Da Vek is that Indian immigrants generally come to the U.S. with college degrees and good paying jobs waiting for them. They are not refugees and don't have a history of intergenerational racism that kept their families in poverty. They think that if they can be successful (i.e. have lots of money), it must be laziness on the part of Black Americans for being poor.
