My first wife was from Jamaica, and I am white. Our son is mixed. His name is Kenneth Egelkrout. One time a friend of his commented that he had the whitest sounding name for a Black guy he ever heard. LOL. I think he has probably experienced some advantages the way you have, which is kind of sad that people made racial/ethnic judgments based on a name.
