My first wife was from Jamaica. In the 20 years we were married, I spent a lot of time there. In the mid-1980s it was so relaxed and as the years went on, the place changed. The first time I went to Negril, there were no hotels at all - just 7 miles of beach. We took a train up into the mountains to where her siblings went to school. Such a cool place. The only fast food in MoBay was a KFC.
