My disaffection for going to movies began before the pandemic. Maybe I am just getting to be a crotchety old man, but people have become more rude with the phones, their talking, their draping the legs over the seats. Booking the seats online took some of the fun out of it too, and at the theater we usually go to, they now have seats that lay back almost like a bed. So now I get to lie in bed with complete strangers. I think I'm done. Popcorn and a movie for the 2 of us comes to over $40 now. Geez.
