Like you, I am vaccinated and lean left, further left than most. The Dems have lost my vote. They have shown they are totally OK with authoritarianism, so long it is in pursuit of what they want. As for learning loss, I am going to disagree with you there. If we are preparing kids to be lifelong learners, there is no learning loss. There is no finish line. I am in my 35th year of teaching. Whatever was not learned this year can be learned next year.
