I've never understood the fascination with the royal family, especially here in the U.S. That dreadful, gauche wedding of Charles and Lady Di back in 1981 was fuel for a vomitorium. Harry and Meghan, who at one time I felt a little sorry for, are becoming the British version of the Kardashians - being famous for being famous. Their accomplishments are minor for the amount of notoriety they have.
