It happened to me this morning. A reader sent me a private note about it.

I’m really fucking pissed off right now. The past few days on Medium have been a total shit-show. These spamming, cloning pieces of filth once again are creating profiles under my first and last name, or slight variations of “Provencio”. They use my avatar picture that I use on my main profile.
