Interviewing Charlie Kirk
If I had the opportunity, this is what I might ask him
When I read of Charlie Kirk being shot and killed, the first question that came to my mind was this. “Who is Charlie Kirk?” I had never heard of him before. When I told people this, they looked at me in disbelief. They could not believe I had never heard of him. At that point, I simply had to shrug my shoulders. I hadn’t. I was just being honest.
Now that I know who he was, my answer is a little more developed. Just for the record, I don’t watch Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, or any of those people either, and I never once listened to Rush Limbaugh. Why would I?
Since I knew little about Charlie Kirk, and since his name was splashed all over the headlines at least for now, I thought it would be a worthwhile thing to at least read about him. I read about his background and his positions, and how he made his living. Among young white conservatives, he was a popular guy, and I can see why. He was good at telling…
