In my 36 years in the classroom, I think I heard pretty much everything. I did, however, push back when a student told me not to talk to them. When they asked to go to the bathroom, I ignored them. I told another student to remind them I was asked not to talk to them. Some kids are the product of trauma. Some just have no manners.
