In 1981 at a barter fair in northern Washington state, I bought a brownie from a woman who was selling them. She told me only to eat half of it. I smirked and ate the whole thing. BIG mistake. I felt the way you described in this piece. There was nothing pleasant about it, and back then I smoke regularly. It was TOO much. It's been decades since I last smoked, and I don't see me doing it again at this point in my life, legally or otherwise.
