I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict 2024 is the end of the gerontocracy. By 2028 Trump will be 82, Biden will be 86, and Hillary Clinton will be 80. The problem will be the dearth of viable younger candidates, since these babies of the 1940s have refused to retire and let the next generation govern. Neither party has much of a second-tier.
