If we are truly educating our students to be lifelong learners, there is no such thing as learning loss. It is simply an interruption in the flow. They will encounter other interruptions later in life as well. What did they lose? How was it measured? Who is the control group? Nah. I think "learning loss" is just another one of those alliterations like "cancel culture," and "data-driven" that people repeat because they like the way it sounds.
