I work 20 hours per week. It gives me a place to go and people to see. The extra money is nice too. Could I live on just what I get without it? Sure, but not as well. William Faulkner once said (paraphrasing here) that "you can't eat or drink or make love 8 hours a day. All you can do 8 hours a day is work."
