I was born in 1958, so I am barely a boomer. By the time I went into teaching, advisors told me not to because all the teaching jobs were gone (boomers went into teaching in droves). By the time I bought a house, the boomers had driven up the cost. Now they are filling the nursing homes/assisted living facilities so that by the time I need that, there won't be any room. Seriously, it's been like following a cloud of locust. By the time I get there, there is nothing left. And I didn't even get to go to Woodstock so I could talk about it. JK..... ;)
