I too hated summer the older I got. What changed it for me was buying this little farm. Now I have a reason to be out there, and there is so much to see and do. 2 days ago as I approached our pond, I saw a Great Blue Heron sitting on our dock. It took my breath away, and when it flew off, I felt like I was in Jurassic Park. We have deer, coyotes, mink, bunnies, lots of squirrels, and a muskrat that calls our pond home.
