I think we will see an escalation in violence so long as Trump stays visible. If he continues those hate fests disguised as rallies and keeps his base energized, there will be violence. If he disappears (say, to Russia to avoid prosecution), my guess is his followers will crawl back under their rocks until the next opportunity.
