I stopped teaching this year after 36 years in the classroom. I am 65. Some people would say I retired, but that is not accurate. What I did was stop teaching. I still work a part time job for something to do and the social interaction, and I write. And I have a small farm. I do collect Social Security and a pension, but I don't think of myself as retired.
