I stopped giving homework over 20 years ago. When people ask why, I tell them it is unfair. Some kids go home to 2 college-educated parents, their own bedroom with internet, and all the quiet they need. Other kids go home, fix dinner for their siblings, have to do the laundry, and their single mom is at her second job. How fair is that?
