I started my teaching career in Wisconsin in 1987. In 1990 I moved to Minnesota and taught there for 27 years before retiring from there. I moved back to Wisconsin and didn't recognize the place. I took a teaching position in an at-risk school and can't believe how much teaching has changed in Wisconsin. Kids stocking shelves at Target make almost as much.
